Role Overview
NewCold is hiring an Operations Executive for its Transportation Command Centre in Bangalore.
The role oversees real-time transportation operations, including fleet monitoring, fuel management, driver coordination, route planning, and compliance.
The position operates in a rotational 24x7 shift environment and requires strong analytical and operational skills.
Fuel Management
- Monitor vehicle refueling activities to support uninterrupted operations and prevent downtime.
- Track fuel consumption, mileage, and efficiency metrics across the fleet.
- Analyze fuel trends and identify discrepancies, leakages, and operational inefficiencies.
- Coordinate with fuel vendors and station partners for fuel availability.
- Manage fuel cards, fuel advances, and reconciliation of fuel expenses.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fuel utilization reports and dashboards.
Transportation and Fleet Operations
- Monitor fleet movement through GPS tracking systems and Transportation Management Systems.
- Ensure timely vehicle dispatch, transit monitoring, and trip completion.
- Track vehicle utilization and address operational bottlenecks and exceptions.
