Role Overview
Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery is seeking an Operations Lead in the UAE to help build and run a fast-delivery service across MENA.
The role is responsible for delivery performance, DSP road operations, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily end-to-end last-mile operations across small sites and supervise dispatch operations.
- Meet customer-facing metrics while maintaining operational and cost targets and team safety and morale.
- Manage performance for team members and DSP partners and implement training and development plans for delivery associates.
- Work with DSP partners to improve processes and sustain operational performance.
- Conduct daily 4M, 5S, and Safety GEMBA audits for stores.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma concepts.
- Ability to motivate team members, execute effectively, work under pressure, and solve problems in ambiguous situations.
- Good people management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SQL is advantageous.
