Role Overview
A freight forwarding cargo company in Dubai is seeking an Operations Executive - Freight Forwarding.
The role requires candidates with at least two years of experience handling freight forwarding operations.
Air Import
- Coordinate arrival and delivery orders and book ADM slots.
- Prepare Bills of Entry and arrange delivery to the consignee's door for DAP and DDP shipments.
- Escalate shipment delays with airlines and follow up on status updates.
- Update local costs in the ERP system.
Air Export
- Arrange bookings through the Dnata and Emirates portals.
- Prepare Air Waybills and IDG documentation according to shipper documents.
- Handle customs documentation, including Bills of Entry, exit documents, ADM, and inspection bookings.
- Arrange cargo pickup and coordinate with field operations until handover and Air Waybill execution.
Sea Freight and Documentation
- Arrange delivery order issuance through the Dubai Trade Portal.
- Prepare Bills of Entry and arrange transport for sea import and export shipments.
- Monitor the submission of original customs and shipping documents.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 6,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience handling freight forwarding operations.
- Experience with air import and export shipments.
- Experience with sea import and export shipments.
- Knowledge of customs documentation, including Bills of Entry, exit documents, delivery orders, and inspection bookings.
- Experience preparing Air Waybills and shipment documentation.
- Experience using relevant freight booking portals and ERP systems.
