The Role
Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to support mission-critical banking platforms.
The role covers cloud and on-premises environments, platform engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, containers, and infrastructure operations.
The engineer will provide L2/L3 support, automate platform management, and support cloud-native application deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for banking applications and platforms.
- Investigate incidents, outages, and performance issues, then perform RCA and corrective actions.
- Support platform engineering across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and Terraform infrastructure deployments.
- Manage Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AKS container platforms.
- Monitor health, availability, performance, and capacity using observability tools.
- Automate operational tasks and collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and application support teams.
- Support releases, deployments, patching, upgrades, on-call work, and major incident management.
- Maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge articles.
