A well-established logistics organization is hiring a Freight Forwarding Executive for air freight operations in Dubai. You will manage import/export shipments, coordinate with stakeholders, and support commercial objectives.

Responsibilities
- Manage import and export air freight shipments, ensuring on time, compliant, and cost effective movement
- Prepare, review, and validate MAWB/HAWB, customs, airline, and regulatory documentation
- Track shipments proactively and provide timely updates to customers and stakeholders
- Coordinate with customs authorities, ground handlers, airlines, overseas agents, and global offices
- Act as customer facing operations representative, ensuring service consistency
- Support Sales and BD teams by translating customer requirements into executable solutions
- Maintain cost awareness and identify opportunities for upselling value added services
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, airline rules, and internal frameworks
- Support internal audits, SOP enhancements, and process improvements
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in any discipline
- 0 2 years experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or aviation related operations
- Exposure to commercial air freight operations is an advantage
- Strong customer communication and coordination skills
- High attention to detail with cost and service awareness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Role Summary
- The Freight Forwarding Executive is responsible for executing end to end air freight operations while supporting commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Execution
- Manage import and export air freight shipments (commercial, aerospace, hi tech, and consumer cargo).
- Execute shipments in line with approved SOPs, carrier agreements, and customer SLAs.
- Prepare, review, and validate MAWB/HAWB, customs, airline, and regulatory documentation.
- Track shipments proactively and provide timely updates to customers, airlines, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, ground handlers, airlines, overseas agents, and global offices.
Key Responsibilities Commercial & Customer Alignment
- Act as a customer facing operations representative, ensuring service consistency.
- Support Sales and BD teams by translating customer requirements into executable solutions.
- Maintain strong cost awareness and minimize re handling, storage, penalties, and demurrage exposure.
- Identify opportunities for upselling value added services.
- Contribute to customer retention and repeat business through service quality.
Key Responsibilities Compliance & Risk Control
- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, airline rules, trade controls, and internal frameworks.
- Escalate operational, commercial, or compliance risks proactively.
- Support internal audits, SOP enhancements, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities Continuous Improvement
- Support operational readiness for new lanes, customers, and verticals.
- Participate in workflow optimization to improve turnaround time, cost control, and service reliability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in any discipline.
- 0 2 years experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or aviation related operations.
- Exposure to commercial air freight operations is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, revenue sensitive environment.
