The role
Pact Coffee is seeking an Operations Compliance Manager to maintain and advance standards, systems, and processes across its roastery.
The role reports to the Operations Director and works across coffee roasting, procurement and inventory, and production.
The role focuses on health and safety, food safety, operational compliance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead health and safety systems and improve risk management.
- Develop and lead Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, and BRCGS systems and maintain audit readiness.
- Create SOPs, training, audits, and operational controls.
- Coordinate across teams to ensure orders are manufactured, packed, and dispatched to a high standard.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, consistency, reliability, and performance.
- Lead planned preventative maintenance and reduce equipment downtime.
- Identify root causes and turn improvement ideas into lasting operational changes.
Requirements
- Experience in Health & Safety, Operations, and Compliance within food manufacturing or FMCG is preferred.
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH is preferred.
