About the Role
This individual contributor role supports merchant onboarding through document validation, risk assessment, and video identity verification.
The role requires attention to detail, sound judgment on risk and compliance parameters, and accurate processing within defined SLAs.
Merchant KYB/KYC and Risk Assessment
- Validate and verify merchant KYB and KYC documents, including PAN, GST, CIN, bank proofs, address proofs, and beneficial ownership details.
- Cross-check documents against regulatory and internal compliance checklists for authenticity and completeness.
- Identify discrepancies, mismatches, or forged or tampered documents and escalate them for investigation.
- Update merchant entity details accurately in internal onboarding systems and tools.
- Assess merchant websites and mobile applications for prohibited categories, policy violations, and regulatory non-compliance.
- Review product listings, pricing, refund and return policies, contact details, and business models for authenticity and risk indicators.
