About the Role
Join the Dishpatch team under the Waitrose line of business as an Operations & Logistics Associate.
Manage product transfers, incoming goods checks, inventory processes, packaging supplies, printing, and facility operations.
Dishpatch provides restaurant-quality, chef-prepared meal kits delivered to customers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Move finished products to chilled, frozen, or ambient storage and inspect incoming goods.
- Maintain product labelling, traceability, production inventory, and accurate stock takes.
- Source and track packaging materials and manage weekly printing schedules.
- Support building operations, health and safety compliance, and operational records.
- Collaborate across product, creative, and production teams to improve workflows and systems.
- Handle additional operational, administrative, and facilities tasks as required.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Extensive operations or logistics experience with inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Experience ordering packaging supplies, managing lead times, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets and inventory or order management systems.
- Ability to prioritise urgent work, take initiative, and adapt to changing needs.
- Understanding of workplace safety standards and hazard management.
- Methodical problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience implementing operational tools, software, or workflows.
- Basic building management or contractor coordination experience.
- IOSH, NEBOSH, or current First Aid at Work certification.
- Experience liaising with creative, production, or product development teams.
- Food, beverage, or perishable goods experience.
Compensation
- Salary is up to £32,000 depending on experience.
- Work between 22:00 and 06:00 attracts a Night Premium of £4.25 per hour.
Contract and Schedule
- This is a permanent contract for 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Occasional weekend work may be required during busy periods.
Location
- The role is based at Dishpatch in North Greenwich.
