Responsibilities

  • Manage all trade support and analysis for the entire trading desk.
  • Responsible for providing reports and analysis.
  • Daily reconciliation of the firm’s trading P&L and position.
  • Physical commodities logistics / scheduling.
  • Contract generation and review for physical commodity trades done directly with counterparties.
  • Invoice generation and collection, and support of the firms lending facility requirements to maximize the flow of working capital for all physical transactions on a day to day basis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor ‘s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university required.
  • 2-5 years of Operations and/or Accounting Experience.
  • Previous experience working with physical inventory.
  • Commodity experience a plus.

  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, lean environment, with hands on team player approach.
  • The ability to handle change and make the necessary adjustments to processes.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and follow through to resolve issues.
  • Capability to deal with internal and external customers in a competent and professional manner.
  • Independent thinker with the ability to analyze and evaluate large volumes of data for accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency required.
