Minimum Requirements

• At least 10 years of full-time experience
• Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or 3 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT
• 10 years in crypto language processing, related language, and/or crypto experience Related Language Experience: (In target language) oral translations, non-crypto audio/graphic translations, doc exploitation, formal teaching Crypto Experience: target development, network analysis, drafting intel reports, speaker/language identification
• Related Language Experience: (In target language) oral translations, non-crypto audio/graphic translations, doc exploitation, formal teaching
• Crypto Experience: target development, network analysis, drafting intel reports, speaker/language identification
• 6 of the 10 years in crypto language processing must include QC’ing and mentoring
• 6 of the 10 years has to be in the required language(s)
• IF CANDIDATE HAS WORKED WITH MULTIPLE LANGUAGES 4 of the 6 years has to be in performing crypto language processing 3 of the 6 years has to be in simply translating, transcribing, and gisting
• 4 of the 6 years has to be in performing crypto language processing
• 3 of the 6 years has to be in simply translating, transcribing, and gisting
• 1 year experience QC’ing at ILR level 3 in target language
• No more than 3 of the 10 years in reporting as primary duty
• 1 of the 6 years in target language has to be within 6 years of resume submission
