A GTA-based manufacturing client is hiring an Operational Excellence Specialist to own the end-to-end performance management system. The role involves KPI governance, data integrity, process improvement, and implementing AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities
- Own data integrity for operational KPIs across Operations and Commercial teams
- Lead BI partnership by translating operational needs into dashboard specifications
- Drive inventory analysis across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Analyze, redesign, and improve operational processes to increase productivity
- Design and implement AI enabled solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Several years of experience improving operational performance in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations environments
- Comfortable working with operational data, defining and validating KPIs
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau
- Hands on exposure to AI, automation, or low code technologies (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, RPA)
- Experience in complex manufacturing environments, Lean or Six Sigma, ERP/MRP/MES platforms are assets

The opportunity
- Our GTA based manufacturing client is hiring an Operational Excellence Specialist.
- You will own the end to end performance management system across Operations and Commercial functions.
- This role is ideal for someone who understands how work gets done today and enjoys redesigning it through data, automation, and AI.
You will:
- Own data integrity: act as single point of accountability for operational KPI data integrity across Operations and Commercial teams.
- Lead BI partnership: serve as business owner for KPI logic and reporting requirements.
- Drive inventory analysis: analyze inventory performance across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Analyze, redesign, and improve operations: immerse yourself in end to end operational, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.
- Design and implement AI enabled solutions: partner with operational and technical teams to translate business challenges into automation and AI solutions.
You bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Several years of experience improving operational performance within manufacturing, supply chain, or operations environments.
- Comfortable working with operational data, defining and validating KPIs.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
- Hands on exposure to AI, automation, or low code technologies (Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, RPA, etc.).
- Builder mindset: you implement solutions, not just identify problems.
- Strong communication skills across all levels.
- Bonus: experience in complex manufacturing, Lean/Six Sigma, ERP/MRP/MES, AI enabled workflows.
Compensation
- CAD 77,000 to CAD 82,000.
