Overview

Mandatory Requirements

• **Experience:** A minimum of **5+ years of proven experience** specifically in the heavy equipment rental and heavy haulage logistics sector.
• **Strong Personality:** Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to **manage and control** drivers and operators, ensuring strict adherence to instructions and schedules.
• **Quick Wit & Decisiveness:** The ability to think on your feet and make immediate, effective decisions during emergencies, breakdowns, or site delays.
• **Industry Knowledge:** Deep understanding of heavy machinery (Cranes, Excavators, etc.) and heavy transport logistics (Lowbeds, Flatbeds, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• **Fleet Control:** Supervise the daily mobilization and demobilization of heavy equipment and transport units.
• **Personnel Management:** Directing and monitoring drivers and operators, ensuring high performance and zero unauthorized downtime.
• **Logistics Coordination:** Planning the transport of heavy machinery, selecting appropriate trailers, and optimizing routes for safety and speed.
• **Problem Solving:** Acting as the primary point of contact for field issues, resolving conflicts, and managing unexpected operational hurdles instantly.
• **Maintenance Liaison:** Coordinating with the technical team to ensure all units are site-ready and compliant with safety standards before deployment.
• **Reporting:** Providing daily status reports on fleet movement, operator performance, and any incidents.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Fleet Management Systems (FMS) and GPS tracking software.
• Ability to work under high pressure and manage multiple urgent requests simultaneously.
• High level of responsibility and commitment to safety (HSE) protocols.
