We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee operations at a remote site across our integrated service portfolio, including catering, laundry, facility management, and cleaning services.
The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary projects in remote, camp-based, or off-site environments, ensuring service excellence, controlling budgets, and delivering measurable value to clients.
Work Location
**Remote Site Posting (Algeria-Adrar).** This role is based at a remote project site.
The successful candidate will be required to reside on-site or in nearby company-provided accommodation and work on a rotational schedule.
Accommodation, meals, and transportation to and from the site will be arranged by the company as per company policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close projects across catering, laundry, facility management, and cleaning service contracts in line with client requirements and company standards.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, manpower plans, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate operational teams including supervisors, chefs, laundry staff, technicians, and cleaning crews across multiple sites.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for service delivery, escalations, and contract performance reviews.
- Monitor service quality through regular site inspections, KPI tracking, and audits; implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene (HACCP), environmental, and labor regulations across all service lines.
- Prepare and present project reports, performance dashboards, and business reviews to senior management and clients.
- Identify operational risks early and develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity of service.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, cost optimization, and innovation in service delivery.
- Support the business development team in proposals, mobilizations, and contract renewals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Hospitality Management, Facility Management, or a related field. (Master's degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.)
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive project management experience, with at least 5 years in catering, laundry, facility management, or cleaning industries.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-site contracts, ideally including government, industrial, healthcare, education, or hospitality clients.
- Prior experience working at remote sites, camps, oil & gas facilities, or similar off-site operations is highly preferred.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets, and cost control.
- Working knowledge of HSE standards, HACCP, ISO quality systems, and relevant local regulations.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and CAFM/ERP systems.
- Fluency in English; Arabic or French is a strong advantage.
