Role Overview
The employer is seeking a responsible, organized, and proactive Operations Executive for its freight forwarding and logistics team in Dubai.
The role handles daily operations, documentation, reporting, and coordination with shipping lines, customers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit shipping and customs documents online accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain daily MIS and operational reports.
- Coordinate with shipping companies, customers, transporters, and other service providers.
- Follow up on shipments and ensure smooth completion of daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities and provide daily reports to management.
- Manage assigned work efficiently, meet deadlines, and support other departments when required.
- Plan time effectively and complete work accurately and professionally within required timelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or customs clearance is preferred.
- Good knowledge of shipping and logistics documentation is required.
- Experience with online portals and document submission is required.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MIS reporting is required.
