Required skills, qualifications and experience

• You can evidence prior experience and an ability to continue to grow in one of the following:
• Using the OpenCPI framework, including the development of OSPs, components, applications and tests
• Working with RF communications and software-defined radio technologies & architectures
• Working knowledge of digital signal processing, algorithm or payload development, and embedded system design
• Competent in C/C++ and/or VHDL for embedded applications, and additionally with Python

Desired skills

• EW or SIGINT capability development (including RF waveform and protocol vulnerability analysis)
• Familiarity with GnuRadio, MatLab, AMD EDF or other SDR development tools
• FPGA/RFSOC development experience and competency in VHDL (or Verilog)
• Commercial and Military communications stacks and modem development (e.g IEEE 802.x, COFDM, Satcoms, or Link 16)
• Working in AWS and CICD pipelined environments, especially with GitLab and Linux
• Real-time test and measurement, using tools such as vector signal analyzers
• Experience in some of these areas is advantageous, but this is not a checklist, and we don’t expect one person to know them all. We’ll support you in learning new project-specific technologies, including opportunities to explore practical uses of AI within software development.
