About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Architect to provide full-time on-site supervision for a construction project. You will ensure contractors execute work in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, and produce shop drawings as needed.

Responsibilities
- Monitor day to day construction activities and verify work conforms to drawings and specifications
- Review contractors' work quality, dimensions, materials, and installation methods; flag deviations
- Develop, review, and issue shop drawings and construction details
- Coordinate between design team, contractors, and project management; respond to RFIs
- Attend site meetings, prepare daily/weekly progress reports with photos
- Inspect and approve work stages before they are covered up
- Maintain records of site instructions, variations, and as built changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- 3 7 years of experience in on site construction supervision
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit a plus) for producing shop drawings
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards
- Detail oriented, assertive, and able to hold contractors accountable

Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor day to day construction activities and verify all work conforms to the architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable codes
- Review contractors’ work quality, dimensions, materials, and installation methods; flag and document any deviations immediately
- Develop, review, and issue shop drawings and construction details as needed to resolve site conditions or clarify design intent
- Coordinate between the design team, contractors, and project management; respond to RFIs
- Attend site meetings, prepare daily/weekly progress reports with photos
- Inspect and approve work stages before they are covered up (e.g., reinforcement, MEP rough ins, waterproofing)
- Maintain records of site instructions, variations, and as built changes
Requirements
