A confidential financial services client in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Business Operations Specialist for its Operations function.
This is a hands-on business operations role focused on end-to-end ownership of workstreams, rather than administrative or executive support.
Workplace and Eligibility
- The role is based in the office five days per week in Abu Dhabi.
- Applicants must currently reside in the UAE and have a valid right to work there.
- Applications from outside the UAE will not be considered.
What You Will Do
- Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows, SOPs, and supporting documentation.
- Own operational workstreams and deliverables, coordinating stakeholders and dependencies through completion.
- Maintain operational dashboards, KPI tracking, and management reporting.
- Support operational readiness for new offices, entities, and business change.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Legal, Risk and Compliance, Finance, Technology, and People and Culture.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate recurring operational activities.
What the Client Is Looking For
- Have five to seven years of experience in Business Operations or Process Improvement within financial services, banking, or another regulated environment.
- Demonstrate experience taking workstreams from planning through implementation, including process mapping and SOP development.
- ADGM or FSRA exposure is an advantage.
- Be currently based in the UAE with a valid right to work.
