Role Description
- This part time remote Healthcare Specialist role at AZ 12 Construction focuses on supporting the health and safety needs of a distributed workforce.
- Day to day tasks include providing guidance on basic medical concerns, triaging non emergency health questions, and advising team members on appropriate next steps or referrals.
- The Healthcare Specialist collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain health and safety protocols aligned with industry standards.
- The role includes delivering remote training sessions on first aid, emergency response, and wellness practices, as well as maintaining accurate documentation of consultations, incidents, and training activities.
- The Healthcare Specialist also supports compliance with company health policies and participates in continuous improvement of health related processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Clinical and emergency care capabilities, including EMT experience and foundational knowledge of medicine.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain medical information clearly to non medical audiences and collaborate across remote teams.
- Experience in healthcare settings, with an understanding of occupational health or construction related health and safety considered an asset.
- Training and education skills, including the ability to design and deliver remote health, safety, and wellness training programs.
- Relevant certifications such as EMT, First Aid, CPR, or other healthcare credentials appropriate to the role.
