OFA2 (Intermediate First Aid) Security Guard

About the Role

Security and Site Duties

• Maintain a visible security presence and conduct regular property patrols.
• Monitor CCTV systems and proactively identify safety and security concerns.
• Respond to customer concerns and support store operations and leadership.
• Document incidents, report hazards, and help maintain a positive shopping experience.

First Aid Response

• Respond to medical incidents and provide first aid when required.
• Coordinate with emergency services when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Worker Licence.
• Valid Occupational First Aid Level 2 certification.
• At least one year of security experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or a similar public-facing environment.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and electronic report writing.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with store management and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience monitoring CCTV systems is considered an asset.
