Responsibilities
- Assess children’s functional abilities, sensory processing, and developmental needs
- Develop individualized therapy plans to support participation in daily activities at home, school, and in the community
- Deliver one on one and group therapy sessions, setting measurable goals, monitoring progress, and adapting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, communicating regularly with families and caregivers
- Contribute to team meetings and case discussions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Support caregiver education and home programs
- Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in pediatric practice
- Understanding of Pediatrics and basic Medicine concepts relevant to child development and functional needs
- Excellent Communication skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and eligibility for relevant licensing/registration in the UAE
- Experience working in pediatric therapy, schools, or child development centers is highly preferred
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans and home programs based on evidence based practices
- Strong observation, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and child safety
- Collaborative, inclusive, and culturally sensitive approach when working with diverse children and families
- Commitment to ongoing learning, professional integrity, and maintaining high ethical and clinical standards
