Occupational Therapist (Ot)
to join our growing
Additional Learning Needs (Aln) Department
in Qatar.
We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and experienced professional who is committed to supporting students with diverse learning and developmental needs, helping them thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and functionally within an inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and support students with sensory, motor, functional, and developmental needs
- Develop and implement individualised therapy goals and intervention plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, parents, and the ALN team to support student progress
- Provide strategies to enhance students’ independence, sensory regulation, fine/gross motor skills, classroom participation, and daily functioning
- Support classroom adaptations and recommend appropriate interventions and accommodations
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and progress monitoring documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support planning (IEPs/support plans)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Relevant professional licence/registration (where applicable)
- Experience working with children, preferably within school settings and/or SEND/ALN environments
- Strong understanding of sensory integration, functional skills development, and inclusive education practices
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in international or British curriculum schools is an advantage
