- Provide occupational therapy services to children of all ages with physical, developmental, or cognitive impairments.
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate children's functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning.
- Help children improve their daily living skills, such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and eating.
- Design and recommend adaptive equipment or assistive devices to enhance patients' independence and safety.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on effective strategies for managing functional limitations and promoting optimal functioning.
- Monitor patients' progress regularly and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Document patients' evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stay updated on current research, best practices, and advancements in occupational therapy to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and respecting patients' rights and privacy.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities.
- Comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards relevant to occupational therapy practice.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and outcome measures to enhance the effectiveness of occupational therapy services.
Experience
- Occupational Therapy: 2 years (Preferred)
