• To provide high quality care and assessments of patients requiring occupation therapy services, utilising specialised theoretical and technical skills. The position holder will be responsible in using occupational therapy methods to improve injury and disease management. Manage a patient caseload whilst demonstrating the ability to assess and treat complex cases and develop treatment plans. About the Responsibility **Formulate and deliver an individualised treatment programme based on evidence based practice and treatment options.** Undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients, including those with diverse or complex healthcare needs. **Have knowledge of chronic disease management that encompasses respiratory, cardiac conditions and diabetes.** Provide emergency care to patients as necessary and attend annual resuscitation training. **Use clinical reasoning skills, evidence based practice and manual assessment techniques to provide accurate occupational therapy services.** Demonstrate clinical expertise for treatment management, supporting colleagues to do likewise and recognise areas for improvement. **Identify appropriate assessments and interventions most effective for the individual patient, including evaluating their implementation and managing their treatment plan accordingly.** Work in partnership with the patient and encourage occupational therapy interventions which promote functioning in self-care. **Work with the multidisciplinary team to promote and support the negotiation of clinical priorities depending on the patient presentation.**
• About the Requirements Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: **HAAD license holder**
• English fluency is mandatory **Arabic speaking is preferable**
• Minimum Experience: Experience in a similar role preferable / Fresh graduates with HAAD eligibility are also encouraged
• Job-Specific Skills: Undertake clinical duties with extensive experience in the below areas: **Strength & Conditioning** Physical Rehabilitation **Assessment and management of activities of daily living (both instrumental and non-instrumental)** Being part of multidisciplinary approach that involves working alongside with Physical therapist, Speech therapist in managing patients post-injury or post-stroke. **Computer Literacy Behavioural Competencies:** Exceptional Communication skills **Outstanding Personal skills** Problem Solving abilities **Possess a Helpful nature** Organization Skills **Flexible** Compassion and Empathy
