- The engagement is a yearly renewable contract.
Role Overview
Administer Nutanix infrastructure and network connectivity to maintain reliable and recoverable enterprise services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage Nutanix clusters and virtual machines using AOS, AHV, Prism Element, and Prism Central.
- Configure virtual networks and VLANs and troubleshoot platform, storage, and connectivity issues.
- Monitor health and capacity and perform approved upgrades, patching, access controls, and hardening.
- Manage snapshots and replication, support recovery testing, and maintain operational documentation.
Requirements
- At least five years of infrastructure experience, including at least two years of hands-on Nutanix implementation or administration.
- Strong TCP/IP, VLAN, subnetting, switching, and DNS knowledge.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and backup dependencies.
- Relevant degree or diploma, or equivalent experience.
