Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Create a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through play based learning
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, hygiene, health, and safety
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure the highest quality of care and education
- Encourage children’s independence, confidence, and positive social behaviour
Requirements
- CACHE Level 3, Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an EYFS / nursery setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative, enthusiastic, and caring approach to teaching
- Positive attitude and genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Attested educational certificates
