About the work unit / facilityConsultation Liaison Psychiatry and Addictions Service / Mental Health Service Group / Townsville University HospitalAbout your opportunityAs a member of the Townsville Mental Health Service Group (MHSG), in the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (CLP) team, the Nurse Practitioner will provide an advanced and extended nursing scope of practice to inpatient treatment areas of the Townsville University Hospital (TUH). (NG8)4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading12.75% employer contribution to superannuationPlus Salary Sacrificing options may be availableAdd in about flexible working arrangements if applicable to role or hiring manager Requirements:Mandatory qualifications and proof of registrationQualification: Master of Nursing Science (Nurse Practitioner) or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.A Nurse Practitioner will be required to complete THHS credentialing:  Upon commencement of their role, and  Every 3 years.Ongoing professional development relevant to the delivery of specialist Mental Health Services to maintain appropriate registration and/or association requirements is a requirement of all staff within the MHSG.Highly Desirable: Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016.Driver Licence: This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle.This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.Please refer to the Role Description for further details.Apply now and be part of something extraordinary!
