Scope of practice requires a broad knowledge base and autonomous decision-making skills. PHN provides consultation and support to a wide array of professionals in the community and delivers community health nursing services to individuals, families and groups. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience

• One year experience as a Public Health Nurse or Immunization Nurse is an asset

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

• Valid Class 5 driver's license

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)

• Basic - Communication skills
• Basic - Interpersonal skills
• Basic - Computer skills
• Basic - Decision making skills
• Basic - Organizational skills

Knowledge and Abilities

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to conduct assessments/prioritize client needs/develop treatment plans
• Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
