Job Description

  • This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of one of the most strategically significant engineering programmes in Australia's history.
  • KBR Infrastructure Solutions Australia, in partnership with Frazer Nash Consultancy, is seeking experienced Nuclear Safety Case Engineers to join Australia's largest industry team of Nuclear Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (NSQEP).

What You Will Do

  • Lead and contribute to nuclear safety cases for complex naval nuclear infrastructure
  • Apply deterministic safety analysis methodologies to generate safety requirements and inform the design process
  • Engage with licensing and regulatory frameworks governing nuclear powered naval operations
  • Produce and review technical design substantiation documentation to the standard demanded by nuclear regulation
  • Mentor and develop the next generation of Australian NSQEP

What We Are Looking For

  • Established experience across safety informed design process, Deterministic Safety Analysis, regulation and licensing, technical design substantiation
  • Engineering degree or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance
