Position Summary

  • The Business Development Specialist will lead and execute Novargi’s business development strategy across the Middle East. This is an individual contributor role focusing on identifying new business opportunities and driving sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the business development strategy for the Middle East region
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in Oil & Gas and energy related process engineering projects
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client investment plans
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with key clients, EPC contractors, licensors, technology providers, and strategic partners
  • Act as the main commercial interface with clients during early project development stages
  • Represent Novargi in meetings, conferences, industry events, and networking forums
  • Lead the preparation and coordination of commercial proposals, pre qualifications, and bids
  • Support contract negotiations
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and project execution teams
  • Coordinate with headquarters to align regional opportunities
  • Prepare regular reports on pipeline, sales performance, and market outlook

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar). Master’s degree or MBA is a strong plus.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the Oil & Gas or energy engineering sector
  • Proven experience in EPF / EPC project development and engineering services sales
  • Strong network within the Oil & Gas, energy, and industrial sectors
  • Solid understanding of project life cycles
  • Fluent in English
  • Arabic is a plus
