Job Overview
As a Non-Ferrous Metal Trader, you will play a pivotal role in driving our trading operations for a wide range of non-ferrous metals, including but not limited to aluminum, copper, zinc, nickel, and more.
Your expertise and strategic mindset will be instrumental in capitalising on market opportunities, managing risks, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- **Market Analysis:**
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of global non-ferrous metal markets, identifying trends, supply and demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors that may impact trading activities.
- **Trading Strategies:**
- Develop innovative and competitive trading strategies to optimise profitability, while also mitigating risks associated with non-ferrous metal trading.
- **Portfolio Management:**
- Manage and grow an extensive portfolio of non-ferrous metal assets, monitoring their performance and making real-time adjustments as needed.
- **Customer Relations:**
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, suppliers, and industry counterparts, as well as actively seeking new business opportunities to expand our market reach.
- **Financial Acumen:**
- Monitor and analyse financial metrics, trading performance, and P&L reports, ensuring trading activities align with company objectives.
- **Risk Management:**
- Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard the company's positions and navigate market volatility.
- **Compliance and Regulation:**
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant trading regulations, compliance policies, and industry standards.
Requirements
- **Experience:**
- Proven track record of 5 years in non-ferrous metal trading, with a strong portfolio of successful transactions.
- **Industry Knowledge:**
- In-depth understanding of global non-ferrous metal markets, including pricing mechanisms, supply chains, and trading practices.
- **Analytical Skills:**
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities to interpret complex market data and identify trends.
- **Negotiation Skills:**
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to secure advantageous deals and maintain fruitful partnerships.
- **Risk Management:**
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage trading risks and implement hedging strategies.
- **Network:**
- Strong network of industry contacts and a proactive approach to expand connections.
- **Adaptability:**
- Agility to thrive in a rapidly changing market landscape and make swift, informed decisions.
- **Education:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- **Languages:**
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
