Role Overview
This is a full-time, continuing NMR Specialist position in the Bio21 Institute's Faculty of Science.
The role supports and advances solution-state NMR capability within the Melbourne Magnetic Resonance Platform.
The position supports a diverse research community, advanced methods, and collaborative publications.
Salary
- The salary is Level A, $87,266–$118,416 per annum plus 17% superannuation.
What You Will Deliver
- Provide expert solution-state NMR training, inductions, workshops, standard operating procedures, and tailored user development programs.
- Operate, calibrate, maintain, and optimize solution-state NMR instruments and related infrastructure.
- Support development of new NMR methods and workflows and contribute to collaborative research and publications.
- Support strategic planning, reporting, lifecycle management, and funding applications for the platform.
- Promote safe, compliant operations and contribute to mentoring, seminars, and research community engagement.
