Mission and objectives
Support the introduction and sales of Nissan vehicles in Middle East markets.
Monitor regulatory requirements and industry trends continuously.
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely compliance with homologation and certification requirements.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Gather information from authorities, technical committees, related bodies, and OEMs.
- Prepare trend reports and correspond with Nissan headquarters.
- Negotiate with Middle East regulation authorities for Nissan business interests.
- Respond to NML inquiries and coordinate with Nissan regional and global departments.
- Work with external partners and test laboratories to support certification testing.
- Plan GCC certificate of conformity delivery against SOP timelines for Nissan and Infiniti models.
Background and experience
- Diploma or degree in automobile, mechanical, or electronics engineering.
- Minimum 4–6 years of automotive passenger vehicle homologation or regulation experience.
- Prior experience with EU, Asian, or GCC regulation agencies is mandatory.
- Experience with regulation standards formation or interpretation.
