Night Shift Supervisor

Job requirements

• Promote and lead a strong safety culture across the site

• Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety observations

• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and WHS requirements

• Supervise and support the night shift production team

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture

• Support employee training, development, and performance management

• Implement and reinforce operational initiatives and continuous improvement activities

• Schedule labour resources, rosters, and overtime requirements

• Monitor production processes, output, quality, and productivity targets

• Work collaboratively with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams

• Conduct audits, investigations, and report outcomes

• Prepare production reports and perform other duties as required

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of production operations

Job responsibilities

• Qualification or Certificate in Management or a related discipline

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role managing teams of 20 or more employees

• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safety leadership

• Strong people management, coaching, and performance management skills

• Proven ability to deliver sustainable outcomes through collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across a diverse and multicultural workforce

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles is desirable

• Understanding of conveyor belt manufacturing processes is preferred but not essential
