NGM- Sr. Capital Projects Engineer

• B.S. degree in Engineering or related field and/or 10+ year’s experience directly managing contractor work in the field required
• Demonstrated experience working in field-based environments such as construction sites, industrial facilities, or mining operations required
• 8 or more years of project planning and project management experience with demonstrated competency in project execution, project management, construction, commissioning, and handover preferred
• Experience leading teams of Engineers, Field Staff, and Contractors required
• Proficient working in field environments for extended periods, including regular walkdowns, construction oversight, and commissioning support preferred
• Knowledge of contract and contractor management practices required
• Knowledge of applicable engineering and peripheral codes, policies, standards, and best practices preferred
• Demonstrated computer literacy and practical application of MS Office products including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint required
• Familiarity with design, and scheduling software preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with operations, maintenance, and multi ‑ disciplinary teams required

• You are regularly in the field and deeply familiar with your projects’ conditions, constraints, and construction progress.
• You build strong relationships with site departments and incorporate their needs into the project design and execution strategy.
• You take ownership of your projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, on budget, and ready for operational use.
• You effectively bridge engineering, construction, and operations to deliver practical, maintainable, fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
