Responsibilities
- Spot check neuroscience/cognitive science items, identify quality issues, and provide ongoing feedback.
- Evaluate AI generated neuroscience/cognitive science content for accuracy and clarity.
- Update trainers and QAs on project guidelines, workflow updates, and quality expectations.
- Respond to trainer/QA questions regarding neural mechanisms, experimental design, and rubric interpretation.
- Create and maintain project documentation including style guides, trackers, and onboarding materials.
- Schedule and run onboarding/training calls with trainers and QAs.
- Flag pseudoscientific, overconfident, or clinically misleading claims.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in neuroscience/cognitive science research, teaching, or related scientific workflows
- Strong understanding of neural systems, cognition, and brain behavior relationships
- Experience leading or supporting remote teams of researchers or QAs
- Familiarity with tools like EEG, fMRI, or computational modeling

About This Role
- Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across neuroscience and cognitive science AI training projects.
- Review AI generated neuroscience/cognitive science content and trainer/QA work, evaluate output quality against project guidelines.
- Provide precise written feedback and ensure all contributors follow expected quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality monitoring: Spot check neuroscience/cognitive science items, identify quality issues, provide ongoing feedback.
- Scientific review: Evaluate AI generated neuroscience/cognitive science explanations, research summaries, experimental interpretations.
- Trainer and QA communication: Update trainers and QAs on new guidelines, project changes, workflow updates.
- Question handling: Respond to trainer/QA questions clearly and promptly.
- Trainer/QA activation management: DM inactive contributors, encourage activation, track follow ups.
- Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation including style guides, trackers, FAQs.
- Onboarding and training: Schedule and run onboarding/training calls.
- Quality alignment: Ensure consistent application of review guidelines.
- Safety and ethics review: Flag pseudoscientific or clinically misleading claims.
- Process improvement: Identify recurring quality gaps and propose workflow improvements.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in neuroscience/cognitive science research, teaching, or related scientific workflows.
- Strong understanding of neural systems, cognition, perception, attention, memory, learning, language, decision making.
- Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and identify issues such as neuromyths, overclaiming, flawed study interpretation.
- Familiarity with tools like EEG, fMRI, behavioral experiments, computational modeling preferred.
- Experience leading or supporting remote teams of researchers, reviewers, or QAs strongly preferred.
- Comfortable using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards.
- Highly detail oriented and organized.
- Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM evaluation, or rubric based review is a strong plus.
