About This Role

  • Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across neuroscience and cognitive science AI training projects.
  • Review AI generated neuroscience/cognitive science content and trainer/QA work, evaluate output quality against project guidelines.
  • Provide precise written feedback and ensure all contributors follow expected quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality monitoring: Spot check neuroscience/cognitive science items, identify quality issues, provide ongoing feedback.
  • Scientific review: Evaluate AI generated neuroscience/cognitive science explanations, research summaries, experimental interpretations.
  • Trainer and QA communication: Update trainers and QAs on new guidelines, project changes, workflow updates.
  • Question handling: Respond to trainer/QA questions clearly and promptly.
  • Trainer/QA activation management: DM inactive contributors, encourage activation, track follow ups.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation including style guides, trackers, FAQs.
  • Onboarding and training: Schedule and run onboarding/training calls.
  • Quality alignment: Ensure consistent application of review guidelines.
  • Safety and ethics review: Flag pseudoscientific or clinically misleading claims.
  • Process improvement: Identify recurring quality gaps and propose workflow improvements.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in neuroscience/cognitive science research, teaching, or related scientific workflows.
  • Strong understanding of neural systems, cognition, perception, attention, memory, learning, language, decision making.
  • Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and identify issues such as neuromyths, overclaiming, flawed study interpretation.
  • Familiarity with tools like EEG, fMRI, behavioral experiments, computational modeling preferred.
  • Experience leading or supporting remote teams of researchers, reviewers, or QAs strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards.
  • Highly detail oriented and organized.
  • Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM evaluation, or rubric based review is a strong plus.
