- High School diploma or equivalent and experience working with children, teens or/adults who have developmental challenges in a teaching or care setting or;
- BS/BA in education, healthcare, psychology or other service-related focus preferred with or up to a year experience working with clients who have developmental challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust communication style based upon the situation and audience.
- Ability to develop sound, trusting relationships.
- Demonstrate an understanding, respectful and receptive attitude toward the needs of students, caregivers and team members.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to be creative and engaging with clients and client caregivers.
- Fast, willing, learner who can be present in various settings regardless of distractions.
- Ability to remain calm and resilient in times of crisis.
- Organized with an attention to detail.
- Able to promote and model our core mission, values and vision.
- Able to run, walk, stand, bend, kneel or sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and push up to 200lbs using a wheelchair or other medical equipment.

- Deep learning in the components of evidence-based therapeutic disciplines such as Neurotherapy, Integrated Listening Systems therapy (iLS), licensed and certified therapeutic service offerings, animal-assisted activity programs, and experiential activity programs (such as recreation, fitness, cooking, art, and music).
