Role Overview
The purpose of this role is to resolve high-priority incidents through advanced troubleshooting, ensure SLA compliance, analyse system performance trends, and create mitigation measures by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Areas of responsibility
Triaging and resolution of tickets-Provide resolution to high priority incident (P2) tickets, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure timely closure.
SLA Monitoring-Ensure SLA compliance for assigned technology areas and ensure proactive escalation management.
Performance tuning and optimization-Analyse system performance data, coordinate findings on system behaviour, and support capacity planning initiatives to enhance overall system efficiency.
Perform system Improvements-Create mitigation measures to evaluate new tools or improvements by collaborating with technical teams.
Handling disaster recovery-Perform security assessments and recovery drills, and implement necessary controls to ensure compliance with established security standards.
Reporting and stakeholder engagement-Participate in weekly and monthly service review meetings, provide updates on performance and issues, and support stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and service alignment.
Team Management-Collaborate with team members to resolve open tickets and service requests.
Knowledge base and continuous learning Contribute to updating SOPs, knowledge articles and maintaining the knowledge repository for the purpose of future ticket resolution.

Network Engineer L3 Job Requirements / Technical skills Must have 8-10 years of experience. LAN Switching, Wireless & WAN Technologies along with SD-WAN exposure. Strong precise understanding with Hands-on Experience on the Network Switching Routing, Wireless Technologies Switching-Routing (L2-L3) Technology: Hands-on Knowledge and working experience of VLANS, VTP, ISL, 802.1Q, Ether-Channel, STP, RSTP, MST, PVST, FHRP-Gateway Redundancy Protocols, Stacking, Switch Security, SPAN, RSPAN, ACL (Standard & Extended), QoS, Port-Channel, Route-map, PBR, SVI, IP Routing, Port-monitoring/mirroring. Wireless Technology: Hands-on Knowledge and working experience of Cisco Wireless Controllers, AP (Lightweight and Autonomous - All Models), FlexConnect, HA/SSO, ACL, Routing, WAP Groups WAN / Routing Technologies: Hands-on Knowledge and working experience of eBGP, iBGP, OSPF, IP SLA, Route-map, ACL, Prefix-list, Static Routing, Route Re-distribution, MPLS, ILL, EIGRP, RIP Advantages. Providing inputs on the in-scope IT landscape for enhancement Leading / Driving the Technical discussion / reviews such as capacity planning, Risk reviews, major change planning, RCA, DR Drills Owning the Major incidents and Project task for respective tower / domain Providing inputs and assistance in technical changes such as Technology refresh, Migrations, New implementation / Roll out Perform analysis based on trend reports, capacity reports etc for in-scope IT landscape Provide inputs for fine tuning / enhancement with impact analysis of the fine tuning changes Discussion with OEM / Vendor / Suppliers for performance improvement.
