The Opportunity
A global maritime connectivity provider is hiring its first dedicated Network Engineer in Canada.
The role will help build a multi-orbit, full-stack managed connectivity offering in North America.
Impact You Will Have
- Test and validate new hardware and software before customer deployment.
- Lead system integration work to keep solutions interoperable.
- Diagnose and resolve network and system issues across TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Linux, and Windows.
- Research emerging connectivity technologies and recommend continuous improvements.
- Collaborate across engineering, IT, and operations to deliver projects end to end.
- Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders.
What Success Looks Like
- Work comfortably across networking and systems administration, with awareness of virtualization and cloud.
- Document technical work rigorously and follow security policies and industry standards.
- Bring structure and calm to an evolving role.
