Responsibilities
- Manage and develop critical banking and network partnerships, driving and executing joint initiatives
- Manage full sales cycle including generation of leads to managing live accounts
- Leverage industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnerships and product strategies with banks and networks
- Steer banks and FIs to execute deals supporting the strategy
- Gather inputs from and coordinate with internal stakeholders on creation and execution of partner strategy
- Leverage significant industry experience to Thunes' internal teams; compose holistic network strategy
- Interact with Senior Officers within the Central Bank to facilitate approval processes
- Attend industry events and follow up on source leads
- Ensure all specific reports and records are completed within timeframe, including CRM tool usage
- Initiate and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 8+ years of partnerships and account management experience working with financial institutions and payments companies across the region
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including compliance, legal, solutions delivery, treasury and finance
- Strong negotiator and ambitious on what Thunes should try to do with their network partners
- Has broad and complex first in kind deals experience with top financial institutions, interfacing with C Level executives
- Operationally focused, with an ability to see a deal through to success
- Strong decision maker, able to prioritise and guide teams through competing demands and complex problems

Context of the role
- The Network Development Director will report to the Head of Network (APAC). Primary responsibility is to develop and execute sustainable network partners with various participants of the payments and financial services ecosystem in South Asia and Central Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages and develops critical banking and network partnerships, with a focus on driving and executing joint initiatives.
- Manages full sales cycle including generation of leads to managing live accounts, ensuring best in class methodical partner management.
- Leverage industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnerships and product strategies with banks and networks.
- Steers, in conjunction with Business Development team, banks and FI's to execute deals supporting that strategy.
- Gathers inputs from and co ordinates with internal stakeholders on creation and execution of partner strategy.
- Leverages significant industry experience to Thunes' internal teams; composes holistic network strategy.
- Interacts with Senior Officers within the Central Bank to facilitate approval processes.
- Attends Industry events and follow up on source leads.

Professional Experiences And Qualifications
