Network Asset Engineer (single skilled Elec)

We're seeking a proactive engineer with strong technical capability, excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering operational excellence.

You will have:

A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in an Electrical discipline.

Practical experience of electrical maintenance, inspection and fault diagnosis.

A sound understanding of powered assets and electrical systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Good IT skills and the ability to work with maintenance and asset management systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work independently and make sound decisions in operational environments.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

A flexible approach to working within a varied and dynamic workload.

Experience coordinating contractors and overseeing site works.

A full UK driving licence.

The following would be advantageous:

Experience within wastewater, water, utilities or infrastructure environments.

Knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) principles.

Understanding of Wastewater Network non-infrastructure operations and procedures.

Awareness of water industry regulations and performance requirements.

Knowledge of British Standard 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations.

Experience of CDM Regulations and DSEAR Awareness.

Training or experience relating to Confined Spaces, Manual Handling and NRSWA.

Experience operating and maintaining wastewater powered assets.

City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Electrical discipline.

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade 9-4 / A-C, including Maths and English.

Understanding of Wastewater Network operational policies and procedures.

Awareness of water industry regulators and wastewater operational requirements.
