Network Administrator II responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient data network infrastructure.
The role supports global network operations and provides IT support services through multiple communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support corporate network infrastructure across multiple vendor platforms.
- Troubleshoot wired and wireless Ethernet technologies and network security issues.
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor network equipment.
- Provide support through tickets, calls, walk-ups, and instant messaging.
- Maintain monitoring and configuration or change management processes.
- Identify potential problems before incidents occur using monitoring tools.
- Provide rotating weekend on-call support and lead Bangalore support operations.
Qualifications
- Five years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience maintaining complex networks and data centers.
- Experience with wired and wireless Ethernet technologies and network security.
- Proficiency with OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN, and related routing technologies.
- Understanding of networking across Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux environments.
- Understanding of end-to-end data flows and traffic patterns using Wireshark.
- CCNP or JNCIP certification.
