The employer is seeking a Backend C#/.NET Developer for a contract role with one of its clients.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using C# and .NET technologies.
The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions.
Location
- The role is remote and permits work from anywhere.
Compensation
- The stated payout is $60-$110 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services using C# and .NET Core or .NET Framework.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and systems.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and data protection standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- C# and .NET proficiency with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud services is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
