  • Help prepare, test and maintain professional broadcast audio equipment
  • Support the set-up and de-rig of audio systems on outside broadcasts and live events
  • Learn how audio systems are configured and operated within OB trucks and flypacks
  • Assist with cabling, microphone deployment, communications, talkback and audio routing
  • Support engineers with equipment checks and fault-finding
  • Help make sure equipment is maintained to NEP’s high standards and ready for its next production
  • Work alongside Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Production teams
  • Maintain accurate equipment records and support technical documentation
  • Learn and apply best practice in broadcast engineering, health and safety and live production
  • Live events or venue sound
  • Theatre or performance
  • Radio, podcasting or audio production
  • Music technology, recording or studio environments
  • Broadcast or technical support
  • AV or technical production
  • A genuine interest in audio engineering and broadcast technology
  • Some understanding of basic audio principles and signal flow
  • A practical, hands-on approach and an ability to solve problems
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to get things right
  • A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technology and developing your skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to stay calm and focused in a busy live environment
  • Flexibility to travel and work varied schedules in support of live productions
