Overview

**Vestacare Home Health Care Center** is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse (NICU)** to provide advanced, hospital-level care for **premature and critically ill newborns** in a homecare setting.

The ideal candidate must be confident in delivering **ICU-level neonatal care independently**, while ensuring patient safety, continuous monitoring, and family support in a home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide intensive care nursing to premature and critically ill neonates in a home setting
  • Monitor and manage vital signs, oxygenation, and neurological status
  • Handled neonates with:
  • Congenital anomalies, Cardiac conditions, Respiratory disorders (e.g., distress, oxygen dependency), Central nervous system complications
  • Administer prescribed medications, IV therapy, and feeding support (NG/OG if required)
  • Manage and monitor medical equipment such as: Oxygen therapy devices, Pulse oximeters, Feeding tubes. Suction devices
  • Recognize early signs of deterioration and take immediate action, including escalation protocols
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
  • Provide education and emotional support to parents
  • Ensure strict infection control and neonatal safety standards

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Valid DHA License or eligibility as **Registered Nurse**
  • Minimum 3–5 years of NICU experience
  • Proven hands-on experience with premature neonates
  • Experience handling high-risk neonatal cases (cardiac, respiratory, CNS, congenital)
  • Strong knowledge of neonatal resuscitation and emergency response
  • Ability to work independently in a homecare setting
  • Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
