Role overview
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced NEC Supervisor for large-scale construction and manufacturing programmes in Sheffield.
The role provides NEC supervision and independent scrutiny of works while supporting Project Leads and Project Managers.
Responsibilities
- Undertake NEC Supervisor services under the NEC3 ECC and report to the relevant Project Lead.
- Maintain a regular site presence and verify materials, workmanship, and standards.
- Identify potential issues, manage defects, witness testing, and attend progress meetings.
- Issue contract communications, liaise with the Project Manager, and maintain contemporary observation records.
Requirements
- Hold NEC Supervisor or NEC Project Manager accreditation.
- Have a relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification.
- Bring relevant construction experience and a good understanding of construction methods.
- Demonstrate service excellence, quality commitment, and collaborative project-team working.
- Use digital systems to access project information and record defects.
- Knowledge of the NEC4 ECC is beneficial but not essential.
