Role Overview
Turner & Townsend is seeking NEC project management professionals to join its expanding Real Estate team in Birmingham.
Project Managers lead commissions of varying scale and value, commonly up to £40 million depending on project complexity.
Project Management Responsibilities
- Lead project management commissions and take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
- Act as the day-to-day client interface and ensure objectives, time, cost, and quality targets are met.
- Provide strategic advice at project conception on approaches for achieving client objectives.
- Establish success criteria covering time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
- Manage quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
- Establish governance, processes, and systems for project delivery.
- Lead project planning and ensure production of the detailed project plan.
- Advise on procurement of resources and lead the cross-functional project team.
- Monitor performance using KPI techniques and manage the change control process.
- Monitor project finances and manage information flow between the project team and client.
- Ensure formal project progress and other reports are produced.
- Interface with clients and consultants throughout all project stages.
