To perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques on components, pipework and structural assemblies to assess compliance with applicable specifications and acceptance criteria.
ESSENTIAL [Post NDT Training]
- Undertake Visual Testing [VT], Ultrasonic Testing [UT], Magnetic Particle Testing [MT], Penetrant Testing [PT], Radiographic Testing [RT], Eddy Current Testing {ET] techniques to components requiring inspection.
- Ensure that work area is safe to carry out NDT activities.
- Undertake Risk Assessments/Take 2 as required.
- Ensure inspection is undertaken within the parameters of the applicable specification.
- Perform routine equipment / consumable function tests to ensure everything is in good working order. Any issues must be reported directly to supervision.
- Evaluate results of the test in accordance with applicable specification.
- Produce a clear and concise report detailing the methods used in and results of the inspection and all finding noting any limitations / test restrictions is applicable.
- Undertake work in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires
- Undertake work in accordance with Oceaneering & Client operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements.
- Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by Oceaneering Management
- Execute work in accordance with Oceaneering Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Non-Essential

- Assist with any other duties as directed by Oceaneering Management.

Safety
Ensure full understanding and adherence to both Oceaneering and Client Safety Policies and Procedures, as far as reasonably practicable to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
Other
Carry out all duties in compliance with Oceaneering’s Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality (HSSEQ) Management Systems.
Execute assigned tasks with diligence and in alignment with the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
Actively contribute to environmental sustainability by minimizing waste, promoting the use of environmentally friendly materials/practices and supporting continuous environmental improvement initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.
- NDT training shall be undertaken during the secondment period, in accordance with SNT-TC-1A requirements.
- Advancement to SNT Level II will follow upon satisfactory completion of on-site experience.

- Ultrasonic Testing [UT]
- Magnetic Particle Testing [MT],
- Penetrant Testing [PT]
- Radiographic Testing/Basic Radiation [RT]
- Eddy Current Testing [ET] - To progress upon satisfactory completion of L2 VT, UT, MP, PT, RT training
- IRATA Rope Access Level 1 Training [site specific requirement]

- Valid Full UAE driving license (P)
- This role is specifically for UAE Nationals with a Family Book only.
- This position would suit someone who has just completed their Diploma in either Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Knowledge, Experience, Skills, Abilities And Other Characteristics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and other Windows-based applications (Essential)
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills (Preferred)
- Flexible and collaborative approach, with the ability to foster a team-oriented mindset for effective problem-solving (Essential)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Essential)
