Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Technician, based in Abu Dhabi.
The role involves conducting inspections using various NDT methods to ensure the integrity and safety of materials and structures.
Responsibilities include performing eddy current testing, ultrasonic testing, corrosion analysis, and contributing to quality control practices.
The technician will document inspection findings, adhere to industry standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any detected issues.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Eddy Current Testing and Ultrasonics techniques for material and structural evaluation
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices and inspection procedures
- Expertise in corrosion assessment and its impact on materials
- Strong understanding of inspection techniques and processes
- Attention to detail and ability to interpret testing data accurately
- Effective communication skills and collaborative mindset for team environments
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in NDT methods (e.g., ASNT Level II or equivalent) are preferred
- Previous on-site NDT experience in industrial or similar environments is a plus
