The NDT Technician is responsible for performing nondestructive testing examinations, interpreting and evaluating results, preparing written NDT reports, and developing NDT procedures and work instructions.
This position requires certification in one or more NDT methods and demonstrated experience in technical writing for NDT procedures in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain NDT procedures, techniques, and work instructions in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
Perform NDT examinations, interpret and evaluate results, and prepare clear, accurate inspection reports and supporting documentation.
Support development and qualification of WPSs and PQRs, including weld process qualification and evaluation of new welding processes.
Interpret applicable construction, welding, fabrication, and inspection codes to establish appropriate examination and acceptance requirements.
Develop inspection methodologies and support production troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, and resolution of weld and fabrication quality issues.
Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, welding, and quality teams while providing technical guidance and mentorship to NDT personnel.
Basic Qualifications
Evidence of exceptional ability (prior projects, portfolio of work, completed products, etc).
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
Ability to perform trade studies and make clear recommendations using first principles and engineering fundamentals even with partial information.
Education requirement – High School Diploma and Professional Certifications or demonstration of ability.
Minimum years of experience – 7+ years
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in a fast-paced engineering or highly technical environment, with a resourceful approach to delivering under tight timelines or budget constraints.

Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly rate range for this role is $35 to $52 per hour.
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on market conditions, business needs, or other factors. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
