About the Role
The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) invites senior banking and finance leaders to join the National Board pathway for the Banking Council of the Global Risks Alliance.

Responsibilities
- Help establish a founding Banking Council through National Nexus Consortiums
- Contribute to Banking Council formation, stakeholder engagement, credit and resilience risk mapping, and annual programming
- Participate in annual programming connected to major financial, diplomatic, policy, and innovation hubs
- Engage with Nexus Core technical environment to test, simulate, and de risk frontier technologies and risk scenarios
Requirements
- Strong alignment with the Nexus Consortium mandate and ability to help establish a credible Banking Council
- Ability and willingness to join a member funded, member run Banking Council pathway and maintain membership in good standing
- Capacity to support the 2030 national and international campaign through Banking Council activation and annual programming
- Proven ability to speak, present, convene, moderate, engage senior stakeholders, and lead structured discussions
- Senior experience in banking, credit risk, enterprise risk, treasury, financial regulation, or related fields
- Ability to connect banking sector priorities with climate risk, cyber risk, AI, and other systemic risks
- Interest and ability to work with engineers, scientists, and technologists to test and de risk frontier banking technologies
- Strong understanding of role separation, claims discipline, conflict of interest management, and governance boundaries
